FTF-I President Honoured
Prof. Shyam S. Sharma, President of FTF-I was honoured by the Asia Fair Trade Forum for his contribution to the Fair Trade movement in the IFAT Asia Conference held at Bangkok from 18-20, September 2006.

FORTHCOMING PROGRAMMES

Participation in the India Social Forum
Fair Trade Forum – India will be participating in the India Social Forum being organized from 9–13, November 2006. We will be organizing seminars, display of fair trade products and campaigns as part of the ISF.

National Convention of FTF-I
The National Convention of Fair Trade Forum – India will be organized on 27 – 29 November 2006 at New Delhi. Topics related to fair trade adherence, market access and fair trade curriculum would be discussed in the workshop.

Social Development Fair 2006
The Social Development Fair is being organized in New Delhi in the last week of November.

Financial Planning and Management Information Programme (FPMIP) by AFTF
A hands-on programme for Managing Directors and their Chief Financial Officers is being organized by the Asia Fair Trade Forum in association with SIPA in Chennai from 29 October to 3 November 2006. The participants of the programme will be imparted training about a free programme developed by AFTF Centre of Excellence to develop, install and use a modern Financial Management Infirmation System that will facilitate budgeting, planning and review of results in a timely manner and thus improving decision making.

IFAT Conference
The IFAT International Conference 2007 is taking place in Belgium from May 14-18 2007.
