Together with the people, IIRD strives to bring about better livelihoods-improved incomes, appropriate housing, better health and nutrition, inclusion of the marginalized – particularly elderly destitute persons and persons with disabilities, and a more sustainable environment. The vision of IIRD is that economic and social justice together with sustainable environment prevails in rural communities of Marathwada region of Maharstra and beyond. With this vision, IIRD along with the rural communities is on a path to explore livelihood alternatives that are inclusive of poor and the marginalized.
